These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the access to, or use of the services made available through this website and the Reporter House web application (collectively the “Platform”).
These Terms may be updated by us, and the Terms, as amended from time to time, will apply to you. These Terms expressly supersede any prior written agreement with you.
These Terms constitute a binding and enforceable legal contract between Reporter House Media (“Reporter House,” “we,” or “us”) and any user of the Platform (“you” or “User”). You represent and warrant that you have full legal capacity and authority to agree and bind yourself to these Terms.
By using the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by these Terms, and that you comply with the requirements listed herein. If you do not agree to all of these Terms or comply with the requirements herein, please do not access the Platform.
These Terms also include terms, policies, and disclaimers issued by us from time to time (“Additional Terms”). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Additional Terms, the Additional Terms will prevail.
The Platform includes the provision of news, current affairs content, and other affiliated services to Users. It allows Users to access and view content posted or published by Reporter House on a real-time basis.
In the event you choose to avail of any additional features or functions offered by Reporter House (“Additional Services”), you shall be bound by the terms of such Additional Services in addition to these Terms. Some Additional Services may require the User to purchase certain features and benefits through the Platform. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the terms of such Additional Services, the latter shall prevail.
To access the full features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. To create an account, you may need to provide certain details, including but not limited to your name and email address.
Users may also create accounts using the ‘single sign-on’ feature through third-party services. Please refer to Clause 3 of these Terms for more details on Third-Party Services.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your username and password and agree to immediately notify Reporter House of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
You expressly agree to be liable and accountable for all activities that occur under your account. Reporter House shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access to or use of such accounts.
By creating an account, you agree to receive communications from Reporter House, including but not limited to:
The Platform may include services, content, documents, and information owned by, licensed to, or otherwise made available by a third party, including the single sign-on feature (“Third-Party Services”) or contain links to Third-Party Services. You understand that Third-Party Services are the responsibility of the third party that created or provided them and acknowledge that your use of such Third-Party Services is solely at your own risk.
Reporter House makes no representations and disclaims all warranties and liabilities arising out of or pertaining to such Third-Party Services, including their accuracy or completeness. Further, all intellectual property rights in and to Third-Party Services belong to their respective owners.
You represent and warrant that all information you provide or make available through or in relation to the Platform is complete, true, and accurate on the date of agreeing to these Terms and shall continue to remain so. If any of your information changes during the validity of these Terms, you agree to update it promptly. Reporter House does not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage you may incur if any information, documentation, material, or data provided to avail the Platform is incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading, or if you fail to disclose any material fact.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws while using the Platform and shall be liable for any consequences arising from non-compliance. You agree to cooperate with Reporter House in defending any proceedings initiated against it due to a breach of your obligations under these Terms.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform.
Reporter House does not presently charge any fees for accessing and using the Platform. However, we reserve the right to introduce charges for certain premium features, subscriptions, or additional services in the future, as detailed on the Platform.
Any pricing changes or paid services will be communicated to Users in advance, and your continued use of such services will constitute acceptance of the applicable charges.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all intellectual property rights arising out of the Platform, are owned by or otherwise licensed to Reporter House. Subject to compliance with these Terms, Reporter House grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, and limited license to access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and any written instructions issued from time to time.
You may submit or make available to Reporter House content, videos, information, URLs, contact information, photos, and any other materials, whether or not created originally by you (“User Information”). You are solely responsible for such User Information and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, title, and consents to make such information available to Reporter House, ensuring it does not violate any third-party rights.
By submitting User Information, you grant Reporter House a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully sublicensable right and license to copy, modify, display, distribute, perform, create derivative works from, store, and otherwise use or exploit all User Information, in any form, through any media, software, or technology, for the purpose of (a) providing Users with the Platform and (b) making User Information available in connection with Reporter House’s digital properties. However, Reporter House makes no claim of ownership over User Information, and no ownership rights are transferred under these Terms.
Additionally, you may provide feedback, suggestions, testimonials, or other input regarding the Platform (“Feedback”). Reporter House may freely use, copy, disclose, publish, display, distribute, and exploit such Feedback without any obligation to compensate, acknowledge, or seek prior consent from you.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, nothing should be construed as granting any right or license to Reporter House’s or any third party’s intellectual property rights.
These Terms shall remain in effect unless terminated in accordance with the provisions outlined herein.
Reporter House may terminate your access to or use of the Platform, or any portion thereof, at any time and at its sole discretion, if you violate or breach any of your obligations, responsibilities, or covenants under these Terms.
Upon termination under this clause:

Reporter House does not represent you in any fiduciary, agent, attorney-client, or any other capacity whatsoever. Your use of the Platform does not create, by implication or otherwise, any fiduciary duty, attorney-client relationship, or any other professional representation. The Platform does not constitute legal advice. Any information provided by Reporter House or its employees, contractors, or personnel is for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Reporter House does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform or that its functions will meet your requirements. We may modify, suspend, or withdraw any or all parts of the Platform at any time without prior notice.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Reporter House expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, non-infringement, and usability.
You accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from your use of the Platform and acknowledge that Reporter House shall have no liability for the same.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, Reporter House and its related parties disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from:
Neither Reporter House nor its related parties shall have any liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or profits, arising from these Terms or the Platform.
Any news or current affairs content on the Platform is intended for informational purposes only. Reporter House does not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or completeness of published content. Users should not rely on such content for making business, legal, financial, or other decisions. Any reliance on Platform content is strictly at the User’s own risk.

You agree to indemnify and defend Reporter House, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, directors, agents, and representatives from any claims, demands, lawsuits, or liabilities, including legal costs, arising from:

Subject to applicable laws, Reporter House may be required by law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or regulatory bodies to disclose certain user data in connection with legal proceedings or investigations. You acknowledge and agree that Reporter House has the right to comply with such lawful requests.
Reporter House reserves the right to, at any time, add, modify, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Platform (or any part thereof) with or without cause. Reporter House shall not be liable for any such addition, modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the provisions outlined in this Clause, the courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any issues arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform.
Any disputes, conflicts, controversies, or differences arising in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration, conducted in New Delhi, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as applicable at the time. The provisions of this Act are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this Clause. The arbitration tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator, appointed by us, and the proceedings shall be conducted in English.
Both parties to the arbitration process shall maintain strict confidentiality and shall not disclose any information related to the arbitration, except when required by law, to legal advisors, or on a need-to-know basis. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on all parties involved.
Each party shall bear its own costs associated with the arbitration process.
Modification of Terms: reporterhouse.in reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time and introduce new or additional conditions regarding access to or use of the Platform. Any such modifications or additional terms will be communicated to you. If you choose not to accept these changes, these Terms will be considered terminated.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect. If modifying or removing part of an unlawful or unenforceable provision makes it lawful, that modification shall apply. However, if the provision cannot be adjusted without contradicting its intended purpose, it shall be considered void entirely.
Assignment: You are not permitted to license, sell, transfer, or assign your rights, obligations, or commitments under these Terms without prior written consent from reporterhouse.in. However, reporterhouse.in reserves the right to assign its rights to any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, or successors without prior notice.

Third-Party Rights: No third party shall have any right to enforce any provision contained within these Terms.
Waiver: Any delay or failure to exercise rights and remedies under these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right or any other remedy.
Force Majeure: reporterhouse.in shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, strikes, labor disputes, service interruptions, telecommunications network failures, natural disasters, wars, riots, civil unrest, malicious activities, or compliance with laws, government orders, rules, regulations, or directives.
